Scott Borland, B.Sc., M.Ed., CHRP, CMC (Founding Partner), has over 25 years of experience in management, human resources development and organizational effectiveness. Working with Fortune 500 firms, as well as rapidly growing entrepreneurial organizations across a variety of industry sectors, Scott brings clear insightful perspective regarding individual behaviour and group dynamics in the workplace. This has earned him recognition as a truly perceptive and engaging consultant, facilitator, and coach. Scott’s established expertise in the design and application of performance feedback methods and tools has enabled him to partner successfully with executives and their teams to significantly strengthen their formulation and execution of business strategy. Scott holds professional certifications in management consulting and human resources, is a qualified executive coach, and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Organization Development Network.
Ross Porter, B.A., M.P.A., (Senior Associate), has extensive experience helping individuals and teams make sense of their business environment and identify and address their most pressing issues and greatest opportunities. Ross brings strong business acumen, clarity of thought, and grounded, well-informed perspectives to each engagement, helping clients gain new insights and turn those insights into intelligent choices and effective action. His ability to quickly grasp diverse subject matter and build a solid understanding of complex issues, enables Ross to add timely, focused, and strategic value to organizations. A champion of continuous learning and knowledge sharing, Ross pursues ongoing academic and professional study, publishes a widely-subscribed e-journal, and is a sessional instructor at the University of Victoria and member of the Academy of Management.
Jo-Anne Hellwig, LS (Associate), has worked as an executive assistant with several high profile organizations including ten years with a major national energy company where she contributed to the sales & marketing, finance, and HR functions. Jo-Anne has primary responsibility for key aspects of our assessment business including implementation design, customization of materials, assessment distribution and collection, and report generation. Her strong customer service orientation, solid project management skills, and keen attention to detail ensure that our clients receive top quality products designed to strengthen individual, team and organizational performance.
